"Creating beauty, opportunity and community."
Every summer, the GUS property comes alive. Art in the Garden is Saskatchewan's most intimate outdoor festival — a full day of live music, local artisans, food, and community on the very land that grounds everything we build here. Seven years running. Still growing.
Blues, bluegrass, country, folk, reggae, and alternative — Saskatchewan musicians performing from 11 AM to sundown on the outdoor stage.
Curated local artists and artisans showcasing handcrafted goods. Original work, direct from the people who made it.
Local food vendors serving up inclusive options all day. Prairie flavours, outdoor atmosphere, no pretension.
Face painting, story time, art activities, and balloon entertainment. The whole family belongs here.
Art in the Garden was founded by artist and musician Valerie Wiebe on the Wiebe Works property — the same land that became Ground Up Studios. What started as an intimate gathering has grown into an annual Saskatchewan tradition, drawing musicians, artisans, families, and curious strangers from across the province every June. The character home, greenhouses, gazebos, and open fields aren't just a backdrop. They're the reason people keep coming back.
