Seven Years on
This Land
Art in the Garden was founded by artist and musician Valerie Wiebe on the Wiebe Works property — the same land that became Ground Up Studios. What started as an intimate gathering has grown into an annual Saskatchewan tradition, drawing musicians, artisans, families, and curious strangers from across the province every June.
The character home, greenhouses, gazebos, and open fields aren't just a backdrop. They're the reason people keep coming back. Seven years running. Still growing. "Creating beauty, opportunity and community" isn't a tagline — it's what the day actually is.

7 Years of Art
in the Garden
Since 2018, Art in the Garden has grown into one of Saskatchewan's most anticipated summer days — an annual gathering of artists, musicians, makers, and prairie community on the land at Wiebe Works.
We drive out every year from the city — it's the best day of summer. The land, the music, the people. There's nothing else like it in Saskatchewan.
— Sarah M., SaskatoonBrought my kids for the first time last year. They spent three hours in the Kids' Garden and didn't want to leave. We already have our tickets for 2026.
— Darren K., WarmanThe evening set under the open prairie sky was something I'll remember for years. Live music, handmade art, good food — all on this beautiful piece of land.
— Janelle T., MartensvilleSeven years and it just keeps getting better. The vendor lineup, the workshops, the vibe — it's grown into something really special. Can't miss it.
