How a shoot day actually goes.

Every booking locks in one run of show. Here's the shape of an Edited Cut tier — Social Cut stretches the bones across more days.

Day 1 • Morning

Pre-Flight & Permission

Site check, NOTAM review, and airspace authorisation where required. Scout the ground angles, set up shot-list priorities with the client, and confirm the weather window. Insurance and pilot certificate ready to share if a venue or municipality asks.

Day 1 • Afternoon through Golden Hour

Shoot Day

Aerial and ground capture in alternating blocks to chase the light. Golden-hour aerials, mid-day ground tracking shots, and a final blue-hour raster pass if the card has the room. On-site review with the client for any retakes before we pack out.

Day 2–5 • Post-Production

Edit & Deliver

Footage logged and organised within 48 hours. Cut draft delivered for review inside one week. Colour pass, sound mix, and final master landing within two weeks of shoot day. Cloud delivery with the raw files alongside the cuts.

Three packages, sized to your shoot.

Pick the tier that matches the deliverable you actually need. Every tier includes the pilot, the equipment, and the post-production pipeline — the difference is scope.

Drone & videography questions, answered.

If your question isn't here, send it through the inquiry form or email Dave directly — we usually reply within a day.

What licensing and usage rights are included?

Every tier ships with a perpetual, worldwide commercial-use licence for the footage we shoot for you. You can run the cut in paid ads, organic social, on your own landing pages, in investor decks, and at events. The raw files are yours to edit, repost, and reuse. We don't retain reseller rights to your footage.

What happens if the weather scrubs the shoot?

Drone operations require calm winds (under ~30 km/h sustained), no precipitation, and good visibility. If weather scrubs the shoot, we reschedule at no extra cost within 14 days. Ground-only coverage continues in light weather — we'll lean on the ground camera and reshoot just the aerial pieces when conditions open up.

Is the pilot licensed and insured?

Yes. The pilot holds an advanced RPAS certificate from Transport Canada and the operation is covered by a $2M liability aviation policy. Copies of the certificate and insurance are available on request before the shoot day.

How far will you travel from Saskatoon?

Base location is Langham, about 20 minutes northwest of Saskatoon. Travel inside a 60 km radius is bundled into every tier. Anything beyond that is quoted at a per-km travel rate — send your location in the inquiry and we'll quote it up front.

What file formats do you deliver?

Raw aerial capture ships as 4K Apple ProRes (or H.265 if ProRes isn't needed) with D-Log colour profile for proper grading latitude. Edits are delivered as H.264 MP4 plus a master ProRes file on request. Social exports ship as H.264 MP4 — vertical 1080×1920, square 1080×1080, widescreen 1920×1080.

What's the cancellation policy?

More than 14 days out: full credit toward a reschedule. 7–14 days out: 50% credit. Less than 7 days: non-refundable. Weather, illness, and emergencies are handled case-by-case — get in touch and we'll work it out.
