Prairie wedding ceremonies and receptions at the Saskatchewan farmstead near Saskatoon. Intimate weekday, full-weekend, and elopement packages — every tier includes the prairie ceremony site, ceremony coordination, and the on-site bunkhouse for the wedding party.
Every tier ships the prairie ceremony site, the reception layout, and the wedding-party accommodation. The difference across tiers is scope — a focused weekday, a multi-day weekend, or a two-hour elopement.
Run-of-show planning, music cues, vendor sequencing, and on-the-day coordination from setup through the last song. You arrive to the timeline already locked.
Prairie-facing reception layout with dinner seating, dance floor, and bar area. Round or farm-table seating to your headcount, with the ceremony view as the backdrop.
The bunkhouse reserved for the wedding party — production-ready sleeping kit, wood stove, cook kit, and a private outdoor space for getting-ready blocks and afterparty.
The Saskatchewan prairie as your ceremony and photo backdrop — golden-hour light across unobstructed horizon, with field edges and the barn interior on standby for weather.
Twilight string lighting across the reception, ceremony up-lighting sized to the prairie, and continuous LEDs available for the photographer to lift any darker block of the run of show.
Full setup before you arrive — ceremony chairs, reception layout, lighting hung, signage placed. Full cleanup at the end of the night, including rental return coordination with your vendors.
Here's the shape of a Full-Weekend booking. Intimate Weekday and Elopement compress the bones into one day or one block — same coordination, fewer hours on-site.
Wedding party arrives mid-afternoon. Rehearsal walkthrough on the prairie site, ceremony music cues with the officiant, dinner coordination at the bunkhouse. Vendor load-in under reception tent. String lighting and full setup by the time rehearsal ends.
Morning getting-ready blocks at the bunkhouse for the wedding party. Hair, makeup, and bridal-party photos through late morning. First look on the prairie. Ceremony at golden hour, dinner, toasts, first dance, and a full dance-floor run through last call. Cleanup coordinated with the caterer and bartender at end of night.
Catered brunch at the bunkhouse for the wedding party and the family that stayed overnight. Vendor load-out coordinated. Bunkhouse cleanup and rental return. Final walk-through of the prairie site to capture any vendor-owned items left behind.
Pick the tier that matches the scope of the day you actually want. Every tier includes the ceremony site, the reception layout, the wedding-party accommodation, and the coordination — the difference is duration.
Placeholder slots ready for hi-res stills the moment the wedding photos land. Drop a <picture> into any slot and the placeholder disappears.
Send the date, rough headcount, the vision, and which vendors you're bringing — we'll review the brief, scope the run of show, and reach out within 24 hours to lock the booking. No deposit required at this stage.
If your question isn't here, send it through the inquiry form or email Dave directly — we usually reply within a day.
Intimate Weekday and Elopement are sized for up to 60 guests — a focused, ceremony-led day. Full-Weekend stretches to 120 seated guests at the reception with the ceremony on the prairie. Beyond 120 we can host the ceremony only and recommend a partner venue in Saskatoon for the reception; we'll coordinate the run of show end-to-end either way.
Every tier wraps the prairie ceremony site, ceremony coordination (run-of-show, music cues, vendor sequencing), reception seating and dinner layout, the photo-ready lighting kit, the on-site bunkhouse for the wedding party, full setup before you arrive, and full cleanup at the end of the night. Full-Weekend layers in the rehearsal dinner, the next-morning brunch, and extended accommodations.
The on-site bunkhouse accommodates the wedding party overnight — Full-Weekend has it reserved for two nights across rehearsal and wedding day; Intimate Weekday and Elopement have it reserved for the wedding night. It's production-ready: sleeping bags/air mattresses, a cook kit, a wood stove, and a private outdoor space for the getting-ready blocks. Guest overflow rooms are coordinated with partner properties within a 15-minute drive.
Saskatchewan prairie weather doesn't always cooperate. If rain or wind scrubs the outdoor ceremony, we move the ceremony into the barn interior (seats 120) — same prairie aesthetic, indoor climate. Saskatchewan thunderstorms that force an evacuation are handled case-by-case. We plan the run of show with weather contingencies from the first call so nothing is decided on the wedding morning.
Vendors are BYO across all tiers — bring your own photographer, caterer, florist, DJ/band, officiant, and HMU. We don't add a markup or a preferred-vendor lock-in. We do coordinate vendor arrivals and load-in on the run of show so the day moves without seams. Happy to share a partner roster (photographers and caterers we've worked with) — that list is a recommendation, not a requirement.
