A treated room that gets out of the way.

Built for tracking, overdubs, and dialogue. Live room sized for full-band setups, control room sized for a small crew, isolation booth sized for vocals and voiceover.

📐
Live Room — ~340 ft² (32 m²)

Tall ceiling, hardwood floor, sloped absorbers on the rear wall. Holds a full five-piece comfortably with sightlines to the control room through the drum window.

⬆️
12 ft Ceiling Height

Plenty of air for drum room mic techniques, natural room reverb tails, and overhead captures. Drop the lights, open the gobos, and let the room speak.

🧱
Acoustic Treatment

Bass traps in all four corners, broadband panels on side walls, slatted diffuser on the rear wall, isolated floor on risers. Tuned for tracking and dialog — not pretty graphs.

Console, mics, monitors, instruments, outboard.

The room is ready. Mic locker, summing, monitoring, and backline are tuned and patched — bring the laptop, the demos, and the references.

Three ways the room gets used.

Every session is customised to the project — these three scenarios are the ones we see most weeks.

Scenario A
Solo Artist
Half-day · voice + guitar
Setup

Vocal chain on the U87 through the 1073 and LA-2A. DI acoustic guitar option, or pair Royer ribbons on the acoustic. Cue mix in cans.

Equipment Highlight

U87, 1073, LA-2A, Royer R-121 pair

You walk out with

Multitrack WAVs + rough stereo bounce. Stems ready for remote mix.

Scenario B
Full Band
Full-day · 4–6 piece
Setup

Drum kit in the live room, amps on iso closets, bass DI plus re-amp, scratch vocals. Headphone cue split so the band hears a click + scratch mix.

Equipment Highlight

Full Audient summing, drum mic locker, U87 + 414s on amps

You walk out with

Full multitracks, rough bounce, and a take-log for comping passes back home.

Scenario C
Podcast / Voiceover
Half-day · 4 episodes or VO block
Setup

Two SM7Bs on the table (or one SM7B for VO), closed-back cans for the host, optional phone/Zoom feed for remote guests. Treated booth, dead quiet room.

Equipment Highlight

SM7B chain into Distressor + 1176, dedicated cue mix

You walk out with

Edit-ready edit tracks per episode / VO take, plus a stitched stereo master if you want.

Two ways to book the room.

Half-day for fast-tracking sessions and podcast shoots. Full-day for full-band tracking and extended voiceover. Engineer not included — house engineer support is quoted separately on request.

Studio questions, answered.

If your question isn't here, send it through the inquiry form or email Dave directly — we usually reply within a day.

Where do I load in and where do I park?

Drive-on access to the studio door — no stairs, no carts across gravel. Drive up, unload, park in the dedicated lot 20 feet from the room. Big-band and full-band drum kit loads are simple.

Can I bring my own engineer?

Yes — bring whoever you trust. The room is yours and the desk is open; signal flow and patchbay notes go out before the session. House engineer support is available if you want a backup or for parts you want a different pair of ears on (quoted separately).

What file formats do I walk out with?

Multitrack WAVs at 24-bit / 48kHz, plus a rough stereo mix bounce if you want one for reference. Higher sample rates (88.2 / 96kHz) are available on request. Files are backed up on-site and on cloud for 12 months.

Can I stay overnight with the team?

Yes — full-day sessions in particular tend to merge with overnight stays. The bunkhouse sleeps six; longer or larger-team projects fold in the Pavilion. Mention headcount and dates in the inquiry and we'll quote a session-plus-stay package.

Can I request specific gear?

Absolutely. We have most of the common mic locker, outboard, and instrument requests covered out of the gate, but if there's something specific you want — a particular mic, a unique preamp, a specific guitar — list it in the project description and we'll confirm or plan around it.

What's the cancellation policy?

More than 14 days out: full credit toward a reschedule. 7–14 days out: 50% credit. Less than 7 days: non-refundable. Weather, illness, and emergencies are handled case-by-case — get in touch and we'll work it out.
